about Microtunnelling


3d drawing image Microtunnelling is simply a name for remotely-operated, small-diameter tunnelling. It is typically achieved by jacking pipes of concrete, or other suitable materials, behind a tunnelling machine, from a launch shaft into a reception shaft. A full installation system would include:

green square image a hydraulic jacking rig and the power pack to operate it

red square image a slurry system with pumps and separation plant
